My name is Ashley Logan. I was born and raised in Georgia and moved to Florida in 2019 when I graduated from high school. I earned my Associate Degree in the spring of 2022 from Seminole State College and transferred to the University of Central Florida in the fall of 2022. I am a journalism student at the Nicholson School of Communication, and my minor is Social and Diversity Inequality. I will graduate in December of 2025.

I have a passion for storytelling, reporting, and multimedia journalism. Through my school work, it has provided me with hands-on experience, and I have developed strong writing and digital media skills. 

I have always loved reading and writing as a kid, but I developed a deep passion for journalism in college because it gave me a chance to connect with my community,  inform others about important events that are currently happening, and give people the opportunity to share their stories with the world.
