It’s Luigi Time: UCF gaming clubs hosts Luigi's Student Union to celebrate Halloween

The sounds of video game soundtracks and controller clicking filled the Cape Florida Ballroom at the Student Union when over 100 people attended Luigi's Student Union hosted by four UCF gaming clubs on Friday.

“We want to get people to know our club exists," said Isabella Formica, secretary of Knightendo and sophomore forensic science major. "We also want people to just come, and just have fun and addition, we also grabbed a few other clubs so that they can put themselves out there.”

Mental health counselor teaches students about mental health and art therapy

The sound of marker strokes on paper filled the room as students got creative to relieve stress on Thursday night.

Trissa Dodson, licensed mental health counselor and art therapist, visited UCF as a guest speaker for Art Therapy Social in the Student Union hosted by the Psychological Society.

Dodson said she hoped to give UCF students a taste of how art can help mental health.

BCM hosts 'Around the World Knight' event

Students stood in line waiting for their turn to enjoy the food of various cultures that Baptist Collegiate Ministries served at their first-ever UCF Around the World Knight.

The event took place in the Cape Florida Ballroom in the Student Union on Thursday. The church ceremony was held in the ballroom but the event ended at Lake Claire where there were different cultural foods and different booths for each country.

Christian Speaker Abdu Murray visits UCF as a guest speaker

Loud chattering filled up in the Key West Ballroom as swarms of students shuffled in to get to their seats before the speech started.

Christian Speaker Abdu Murray visited UCF as a guest speaker for Campus Crusade for Christ at the "Delusional & Dangerous" event, on Thursday in the Student Union. Abdu Murray is not only a Christian speaker but he is also the author of five books. Murray also hosts a podcast called The Defense Resets.

Murray said his speech addressed some questions that society
